We know that the proposed ADAGE Biomass plant is a hot topic in Mason County and we are committed to giving you as much information as possible regarding it, helping you make an informed decision. One that focus' on the company of Adage and the other from Incinerator Free Mason County, the group that is against the plant. Also we have added the two hour informational session with uncensored questions from the public answered by officials from Adage. Adage Biomass Interview with Dedrick Allan as heard on 'Around the Sound' on KMAS. Sunday May 9th, 2010 1030 KMAS recently sat down with officials from ADAGE, the company proposing to build a biomass generating plant at the Port of Shelton's John's Prairie Industrial Park. Jim Gaston, the Project's Manager, and Tom DePonty, Director of Public Affairs for ADAGE, explained the project and answered questions about the plant, the woody debris that will be used as fuel and where it will come from, the emissions expected from the boiler, the plant's expected water use and wastewater needs, whether the roads will handle the expected truck traffic, and how this proposed plant will impact the economy.
