Mason County P.U.D. No. 3 has hired Jerome W. Morrissette and Associates to design the John's Prairie Waterline extension. This project will bring city water to the location where the P.U.D. wants to construct an operations center on John's Prairie Road. The extension is to be built to City standards and will be about two miles long. The extension also brings much needed water to the industrial area. The other agencies involved in the hiring process were the City of Shelton, Mason Transit, Mason County and the Port of Shelton.
