The Shelton School District was awarded a $500,000 Energy Grant from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The School District will use the funds to upgrade heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, repair and upgrade controls, and replace inefficient lighting.
Students, teachers, and staff will benefit from better ventilation, more reliable heat, improved temperature controls, and improved lighting. Earlier this week, 1030 KMAS News reported that the North Mason School District was awarded a $170,000 Energy Grant from OSPI. (Click here for that story.)
